There’s a MILD obsession with pie in my family. Apple, blueberry and cherry all live at the top of our pie list. Today, I’m happy to share the apple pie recipe from my Granny, revised by my mother to be gluten-free {and still delicious}.

Apple Pie {Gluten-Free}

8 medium/large golden delicious apples
Glutino Perfect Pie Crust
gluten-free flour
sugar
cinnamon
water
butter

  1. Prepare Glutino’s Perfect Pie Crust. This pie requires two crusts.
  2. Peel and slice apples.
  3. Place crust in bottom of baking pie dish. Pinch edges around the rim of the dish.
  4. Add layer of apples. Sprinkle with gluten-free flour, sugar, cinnamon and water. Add several dabs of butter.
  5. Continue layering apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, water and butter until you run out of apples.
  6. Place second crust on top of pie, pinching edges with bottom crush. Make slits in the top with a butter knife.
  7. Bake at 425* for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat to 350* and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are soft

Slice and ENJOY!
