Valley of Fire State Park
While in Las Vegas for a work convention, I decided to take a short drive north to Valley of Fire State Park. After moving from Arizona, I was craving a day of hiking and exploring in the desert.
Valley of Fire is Nevada's oldest and largest state park. Open all year and only six miles from the beautiful Lake Mead National Recreation Area, makes this a must see location while visiting Las Vegas.
