Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Cuyahoga Valley National Park has so much goodness to offer. From wetlands to waterfalls and wooded trails with unique rock formations, there's a little something for everyone. The one thought on my mind while departing the park was a requirement to return for fall foliage hiking.
Top Five Hikes + Places to Explore
Beaver Marsh - a peaceful 1.5 mile trail along a wetland boardwalk. As the name suggests, beavers and other water mammals are in the area.
Brandywine Falls - enjoy an easy 30 minute boardwalk stroll to view the 65 foot waterfall.
Everett Covered Bridge - bright red and beautiful, as you might expect. The trail to the covered bridge is a short half mile.
Ledges Trail - my favorite hike in the park! A 2.2 mile trail takes you through amazing rock formations, covered in green goodness.
Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail - walk a a short distance or the entire 19.5 miles, exploring the towpath.
