Raindrops on flowers make me happy. Maryland received a bit of rain during the spring and summer.

After one storm, I made my way outside to see how the raindrops were enhancing the flowers and found this scene unfolding. Tiny reflections of daffodils inside raindrops at the base of a daffodil bloom.

Squatting in the flowerbed, I captured a handful of photographs containing these raindrops and reflections. This perspective, with the raindrops set against the creamy color of another daffodil, was my favorite.

Looking through the lens for so many years has given me a very detail oriented view of the world. A perspective I am overwhelmingly thankful for each day.
